RTK Instruments designs and manufactures process alarm equipment for a vast range of process and utility industries around the world. The company has been established for over 30 years and during that time has built up a reputation for providing quality products backed up by professional support and after sales service.

Innovative products

Many years involvement in the design and manufacture of alarm annunciators and alarm systems for the process and power industries has allowed RTK to develop one of the widest and most innovative ranges of alarm products available anywhere. Products are available to suit all applications, all system sizes and all types of environments including hazardous areas. Many products are unique world-wide or have world leading features and user benefits.

Facilities

Based in Knaresborough, in the North of England, RTK Instruments undertakes in-house research and development including the latest ASIC and microprocessor designs, using fully integrated CAD design tools. These facilities together with automated production equipment and full system capabilities, allow RTK to remain competitive across the world.

Approvals

RTK holds both products and company approval certificates. The company itself is regularly audited by BSI to the internationally recognised ISO9001:2000 standard and also holds a manufacturing licence audited by Baseefa Ltd. Many products are certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. These products are approved by Baseefa, KEMA or CSA.

Export

Together with our agents, distributors and trade partners, RTK now exports the majority of its turnover outside the UK. We have established agents in many areas of the world and actively nurture these links to enable RTK to reach a wider audience.

RTK sells to many industries around the world. They include process industries like; Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Refineries, Breweries and Distilleries, Mining, Paper and Pulp, Metal processing and also utilities like Power generation, Power distribution, Water, Gas Transmission and Telecommunications.
